Cell Phone Technology – Unleashing the Future of the Smart Phone

Most people don’t realize how fast cell phone technology is changing today, it seems to be increasing exponentially. By studying all the new apps and features as well as all the new devices, we see that there is no way to stop these advancements. The question is; are you inside or outside? Are you going to embrace these new technologies and applications or fear them? Are you sure you trust these innovations? What about privacy, hacking, what about the future?

To quickly illustrate how quickly things are changing in the smartphone space, let me give you a few examples. These are up to date, like this week; personal technology articles in the smart mobile phone industry. The first article I found on, an article titled: “Check This: Deposit Money By Taking A Photo”, by Andrew Vanacore – AP Business Writer / February 23, 2010. In the article, l ‘author states:

“In the near future, you may not even need to go to a bank or an ATM to deposit a check. You just need to take a few pictures with your mobile phone. Applications for this purpose are already available for the Apple iPhone. and other gadgets from the USAA, a company that provides insurance and banking services primarily to military veterans. “

He goes on to explain in this personal article on mobile smart phone technology that banks such as Chase, B of A and Citibank all seem to be involved in this technology, suggests the author of the article, and they will present this technology in 2010. The concept is called “remote deposit capture”, and where it seems like cutting edge technology and user-friendly concept, we also need to remember the target that mobile users have become hackers, all the more so as we learn of the release of secret codes used to encrypt these devices.

Scary stuff, for those who use such apps, but indeed, it would definitely make wire filings easier, wouldn’t it? Of course, if you are bothered by cell phone banking, maybe we should suggest real time window shopping through your cell phone? There is no point in shopping, just walk past the window even if the store is closed and press buy, and it’s yours, and will be sent to your home. Online shopping during window shopping.

A recent New York Times article explains it all: the title of the article; “Cell Phones Enable Shoppers to Point, Click and Buy” By Stephanie Rosenbloom – Posted February 26, 2010. Author explains how shoppers can use their cell phones to order from a store window retail and buy online simply by pointing the item in the window; wow, now that’s cool.

Wow, what a concept, all via your smartphone technology. And this is something that is sure to be a hit with cell phone buyers and users. Okay, what about Skype smart phone calls? Yes, that too is available now; In India’s Online TopNews and article titled; “Samsung embarks Skype” which was submitted by Jimmy Peterson on Saturday 02/27/2010 – 12:25 pm explains everything. The article investigated the impressive growth in the functionality of using Skype in various smart phones, as if it could become the international standard for all cell phones in the future. Panasonic and LG already offer this, and it is a big hit in the EU and Asian markets.

As soon as one business introduces a new feature, everyone else seems to follow. Just because Apple or Google has a new app doesn’t mean the industry won’t make it a standard feature on all smartphones, just like digital cameras, music videos, etc. Of course, technologies or applications may work slightly differently due to patents, software, device hardware, but essentially all companies will ultimately offer all applications.

The competitive nature of the industry is heating up as hundreds of millions of Chinese, Indians, Southeast Asians, Africans and South Americans get their first mobile devices, face it, it’s a mobile wired world. In fact, in a recent article from the online version of MB Manila Publishing Company; “Report: Global Phone Sales Increased 8% in Fourth Quarter,” by Melvin G. Calimag, Feb. 27, 2010 at 2:19 pm, discussed how smartphone sales hit record highs in 2009, in increase of nearly 25% and could double in 2010.

Indeed, I would say this is an exciting time in the mobile smart personal technology industry, maybe you would like to upgrade, get on board and enjoy some of the amazing apps that are announced monthly, or even weekly in some cases. . Why not consider upgrading your mobile phone and signing up for a new cell calling plan? Please consider all of this, because our online think tank is.
