7 Advantages of a Lithium-Ion Battery

A lithium-ion cell provides 3.6 volts, which has many advantages. On the other hand, other types of batteries, such as alkaline, nickel-metal hydride and nickel-cadmium batteries offer 1.5 volts or 2 volts. The voltage of these cells being higher, they do not have many applications. But this type of battery is used in billions of cell phones today.

6. No priming required
