Shop Smart & Save Money 2019

In the age of e-commerce, it has become possible to find the best deals using a smartphone or laptop and have them shipped to your door. It has also become possible to do business in stores, online and through apps.

There are 3 ways to shop smart and save money in 2019, before you buy, while you buy and after you buy.

1-How to save money before buying an item?

When I find a product that I want or need, the first step is to decide whether to buy it online or in a store. So which store or online platform offers the best value for money. I also look at some things that I think are very important before making any purchase:

-Shipping Policy: It is important to know if an online price tag comes with free shipping or if the customer is responsible for that cost.

-Return Policy: It is also important to know whether a seller or a buying platform offers free returns or not. With a free return policy in place, the seller will pay for the return shipping cost if the customer does not like the item received.

-Location: Where is the item you are purchasing shipped from? The original location of the items will determine how long it will take for your item to arrive. However, many online sellers use the drop shipping method. When the consumer buys, the seller (who does not have the item on hand) then asks the manufacturer or a third party to ship the item to the customer. These items are usually shipped overseas from countries like China which will take much longer for the item to arrive. If you are willing to wait that long for shipping, it doesn’t make sense to go through a drop shipper, you might pay less by going directly to the Alibabba or ALiexpress websites.

-Goodwill Outlet Store

Goodwill Outlet is a good example of a store that I have never visited before 2018. Now I can go there and buy as many items as I want for really cheap, and if I get the chance that day, I can find branded items to keep or resell online. I can pay up to $ 1.49 for a pound of clothes (prices vary by location). The Goodwill point of sale in my opinion is not just for someone who resells online. I encourage you to visit the Goodwill Outlet Store in your area, it’s an experience you will enjoy if you like finding deals, and it’s for a good cause. If you decide to go for it after reading this article or if you have been there, share with us your experience in the comments area so that everyone can learn

– eBay auctions

eBay is another platform where you’re most likely to strike a deal. It’s in my list of smart ways to shop online in 2019 for 3 reasons:

1. Large inventory with the ability to bid, which gives you some control over the price you are willing to pay for an item. If the seller accepts, you have an agreement.

2. HUGE number of auctions you can win on the cheap if you know what you’re doing. I usually score a lot quickly by bidding on auctions that soon end without a bidder. I have found that winning auctions is a great way to save money and make smart purchases.

3. Rare items in all categories

eBay has been around for a while and has a strong brand that has a good buyer protection policy and is trusted around the world. Another smart way to shop and get rid of unwanted items around the house is the eBay platform. I sell on eBay and maintain top rated seller status with 100% customer feedback, just by keeping my prices low, accepting reasonable offers, and trying to provide the best customer service possible. You can still get a good return even if the item is not new, as long as you are honest and mention any scratches or imperfections in the description. You can find my store on eBay here. I will appreciate if you check it out.

I love the chic app because it’s easy to use and it’s a great way to find great deals in the clothing category. As a posher, you can bid on items you like and use the bargaining power to your advantage to ask poshers to lower their prices. You can also follow the sellers you like and join groups based on the brands or categories of items that interest you. at the same time. It’s a great way to clean your closet and get rid of clothes you no longer use. If you don’t have a Poshmark account, you can receive a free $ 5 bonus by signing up with my code SARADRETAIL.

Disclaimer: If you use my code to sign up for Poshmark for free, you will receive a $ 5 credit and I will receive a $ 5 credit after you make your first purchase. Please leave me a comment below to track your closet, you can view my closet here.

ThredUP is another website that makes buying brand name used clothing and accessories affordable. Their customer service is excellent, their shipping is fast, and their prices are among the best in the market. Every purchase I make from the thredUP website is a bargain. Check it out here if you are looking for high priced items for a great price. Some of the brands available on thredUP: GUCCI, BURBERRY, GIORGIO ARMANI, MAX MARA, J.CREW, THEORY, COACH, VINCE, MICHAEL KORS …

There are many ways to save money when buying products. When you buy online, depending on your platform (eg ebay, amazon, poshmark, craigslist, letgo, offerup, etc.) you may have the power to negotiate your price. Price haggling is still used in many cultures around the world, but at the end of the day, as a buyer, we are haggling for the best possible price. Many platforms now have a way to haggle over “Best Deal” or “Make Offer” options. Of course, the seller ultimately decides whether to accept, counter, or decline the offer. As long as you offer a reasonable price and don’t do a low ball in most cases, you can expect to pay a lower price than what was originally asked.

Another way to save money online is by using coupons, eco-coupons, and promo codes. You might think I just read coupons, isn’t this what my mom cuts from the Sunday paper. Well, they’re not just for in-store purchases anymore. Everything is online nowadays and that includes discount coupons. There are websites that offer online discounts and printable coupons for almost any item, any store, and any retailer with just one click. These discount codes can be entered at checkout to get 10-70% off your total purchase. Plus, on many platforms, if you bundle (buy more than one item from the same seller) your purchase, you can save even more.

Coupons have been used at grocery retailers for over a hundred years. Thanks to technology, retailers can now offer their customers direct mail coupons and emails, they can put coupons on their website, and customers can even save them on their phones. There are coupons available for any item, any discount, and any retailer. It’s just a matter of finding the best coupon to use for your purchase.

Cash Back Rewards allow you to earn money on any item you have purchased, which saves you money on the purchase of that product.

We are in the age of applications. We have become glued to our phones, never letting them leave our site, using them not only for making phone calls, but also for browsing the Internet, shopping for products, watching TV, reading a book, etc. Apps have become a normal part of our anatomy phones.
